SLMC Medical Center was set up in 2003 with a vision of providing quality Health Care Services to corporate organizations and individuals within a cross section, at affordable costs. The organization was set up in Kisumu to provide distinctive services to the locals and beyond the Kisumu boundaries. To realize this vision, the day-to-day operations of the hospital are streamlined to ensure that staff give out their best.

To create a society where more people are able to access quality and affordable medical services through offering high quality medical services to all without any discrimination at affordable rates. We envisage a future full of challenges and that requires healthy individuals in body, in mind and in spirit. We look forward to be an institution that works at present with future in mind. We want to study ahead of the pack in answering the question, "what is health today.'"
